David Benyon is professor of interaction design at Edinburgh Napier University. He has been working in the area of user experience (UX) for over 10 years and in human-computer interaction (HCI) for over 20 years. He recently developed the concept of a blended space to characterise UX in this era of omni-channel interaction. Blended spaces are spaces where the physical and digital spaces are closely intertwined. He is author of the book Designing Interactive Systems, published by Pearson.
